UPDATE 25TH MARCH - TEMPORARY CLOSURE NOTICE 

In compliance with the government announcement this week with regards to COVID-19 virus and with the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff of utmost importance, we have made the decision to temporarily close all Lavender Hotels and the Stables Country Club with immediate effect until 31st May 2020 at the earliest.

We would like to thank all our customers for their support and understanding during this difficult time.

Lavender Hotels recognises and understands the current situation of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and would like to reassure customers we are strictly following Government advice.

As it stands we have had no confirmed cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) at any of our hotels or leisure clubs.  We are open as usual and anyone wanting to travel is welcome to stay.

Lavender Hotels is committed to following strict advice from Public Health England (PHE), The World Health Organisation (WHO), local authorities, and the government in relation to dealing with the delay phase of the current pandemic.  Please be assured the well being of our all customers, visitors and staff is of the utmost priority and has our complete and utter attention.

What we are doing to help?

 

Lavender Hotels have always taken great pride in our high standard of hygiene throughout our hotels from bedrooms, leisure facilities, restaurant and other public areas to behind the scenes areas such as kitchens and food preparation areas.  Every property holds a minimum 4-star hygiene rating with local authorities.  However, we have taken additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene procedures even more rigorous with the following extra step:

Additional cleaning:

  • Increased frequency of cleaning
  • Regular sanitation of all surfaces throughout the hotels and leisure clubs.
  • Deep cleaning of all areas.
  • More testing of chemical levels of swimming pools.
  • More sanitation hand gels available to guests and leisure club members.

Team training:

Throughout this process, our staff have been given additional training to enhance their knowledge of the virus and cleaning skills.  Supplies of all chemicals into the business have been unaffected.


Hotel bookings

We want to reassure you we are looking at showing greater flexibility current and future guests during this difficult period.

I’ve already made a booking?

If you have an existing booking we will give you the flexibility to move this booking to a future date providing you give at least 24 hours notice prior to the date of your existing booking. This also includes pre-paid bookings which would normally be non-transferable and non-refundable.

I’m looking to make a booking is it secure?

Any new bookings made from 18th March 2020 can be transferred to a future date or can be canceled up to 24 hours of your stay. 


Leisure Club Members

**IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE 20/3/2020 - LEISURE CLUB CLOSURE**

Dear Members,

Following the closure announcement from central Government on 20/03/2020 we regret to inform you that as from 10pm this evening The Oaks Leisure Club will be closed until further notice.

All memberships will be paused and no money will be collected on the next direct debit due date. If you pay annually this will be credited on to renewal date. If this is part of the way through a month we will credit the money that is owed to you and subtract this from your membership at a later date.

**PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL YOUR DIRECT DEBIT - NO MONEY WILL BE TAKEN ON YOUR NEXT DIRECT DEBIT DATE AND UNTIL THE CLUB REOPENS***

We appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time. The welfare of our members is our main priority. Further updates will follow.


Wedding Bookings

We understand that this is a stressful time for you and we want to reassure you that we are here to help and will be flexible with your wedding arrangements. If government guidelines dictate that larger gatherings can no longer take place or other factor means your wedding can no longer take place on the current date, we will ensure that we find a future date to transfer your wedding to at no extra cost. This date will be subject to availability and we will work with you to find a suitable date for you.

What can you do to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Please continue to follow PHE advice:

Wash your hands more often than usual, especially when you:

  • Get home or into work
  • Blow your nose, sneeze or cough
  • Eat or handle food

Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms. Stay at home for 7 days or if you live with other people, stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person get symptoms you have either:

  • a high temperature, or
  • a new, continuous cough

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.

You should only use the 111 coronavirus service if:

  • you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
  • your condition gets worse
  • your symptoms do not get better after 7 days

Only call 111 if you cannot get help online.
